{"id":299,"date":"2025-04-18T13:30:31","date_gmt":"2025-04-18T13:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.poulskitchen.com\/?p=299"},"modified":"2025-04-18T13:30:31","modified_gmt":"2025-04-18T13:30:31","slug":"corned-beef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/poulskitchen.ovh\/?p=299","title":{"rendered":"Corned Beef"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Corned Beef\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6OEuQcF-hDc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Corned Beef is a crazy good and tasty British dish that is awesome, unfortunately in North America we normally get this via a can, and it sucks, full of salt and just lacks taste, but making this homemade is so much better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some beef, we are using a roast<br>A lot of Salt (try to use NoSalt)<br>2 TBS Coconut Sugar<br>1 TBS Peppercorns<br>1 TBS Dill<br>2 TBS Cardimon<br>1 TBS Mustard Seed<br>1 TBS Garlic Powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients <\/strong>2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 Star Anase Pods<br>Black Pepper Corns, grind this up make sure you grab a lot.<br>2 TBS Ground Mustard<br>1 TBS Mustard Seed<br>1 TBS Crushed Chili Flakes<br>2 Containers of Beef Broth<br>Chopped Carrots<br>Chopped Potatoes<br>Chopped Cabbage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 1 10 Day Bath<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your beef is going to have to go into the fridge to bath for 10 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put your beef into a container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a mixing bowl mix your salt and coconut sugar with some water stir well, then add your pepper corns and dill and cardimon, mustard seed and garlic powder, stir this up really well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spoon the mixture into the container with your beef, and stick this into your fridge and let this sit for 10 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 2 After 10 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a small frying pan mix some oil and add your star anasee pods some black pepper corns, you do want a lot, Put in your ground mustard, your mustard seed, and crushed chilli flakes, and toast this on the oven for about 5 minutes or until you consider it toasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 3 The Slow Cooker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put your corned beef into the slow cooker, put your beef broth in. now add your toasted spice mix, and then your cabbage and carrots and potatoes, and set your slow cooker on low and let this cook for 9 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 4 The Beef<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After 9 hours is done take the beef out, slice it how you want it, and your veggies and your ready to serve!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corned Beef is a crazy good and tasty British dish that is awesome, unfortunately in North America we normally get this via a can, and it sucks, full of salt and just lacks taste, but making this homemade is so much better!
