{"id":417,"date":"2025-07-20T13:25:28","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T13:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.poulskitchen.com\/?p=417"},"modified":"2025-07-20T13:25:28","modified_gmt":"2025-07-20T13:25:28","slug":"halifax-baked-beans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/poulskitchen.ovh\/?p=417","title":{"rendered":"Halifax Baked Beans"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Halifax Baked Beans\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-8zgoGru6ao?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baked Beans is one of our cultural foods, it tastes good, and easy to make, and simply one of the best meals you can possibly make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingreidents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Pound Navy Beans<br>Baking Powder\/Soda<br>Pork Tenderloin<br>2 Onions chopped<br>1 TBS Onion Powder<br>Lo-Salt<br>1 TBS Of Garlic Powder<br>Ground Black Pepper To Taste<br>2 TBS Smoldering Smoked Applewood<br>Apple Cider Vinegar<br>2 TBS of Onion Powder<br>2 TBS of Garlic Powder<br>1 TBS All Spice<br>3 TBS Of Mustard<br>1 TBS Of Cajun Spice<br>1 TBS Cloves<br>1 TBS Tajin<br>2 TBS Of Ground Mustard<br>1 TBS Of Cuming<br>Molasses<br>1 TBS Of Maple Bacon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Soak The Beans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combine the beans into 2 large bowls, dividing them equally, pour 2 TBS of baking powder or soda in each bowl and fill with water, mix the baking soda or powder up and let these sit over night so they can expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pork Tenderloin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cut up the pork tenderloin into thin strips<br>Put it into a bowl and and put a bit of extra virgin olive oil in it, add some onion powder, some lo salt, some garlic powder, some ground black pepper, 2 TBS Of Smoldering Smoked Applewood, and a few drops of apple cider vinegar, and take your hands and mix it up really well, and cook it up until it s just cooked, do not over cook this, it doesn&#8217;t need to be browned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Boil The Beans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a large pot, start boiling the water, drain your beans from the bowls and put them into the boiling water, and let it boil for 5 minutes, then drain them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Slow Cooker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put your beans, onions into the slow cooker, and start to dump the following into the mix, the pork tenderloin, apple cider vinegar 2 more tbs of onion powder, 2 tbs of garlic powder, your all spice, and mustard, Cajun spice, Cloves, tajin, ground mustard, and cuming, and ground black pepper, a whole container of molasses, maple bacon, and add water til its above the beans, and mix it well until its fully combined. and fully covering all of the beans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cook this on low for 8 hours, and your good to go!
